Smoked Sushi?

We are so fortunate to have a new addition to the restaurants in our neighborhood, Butterfish Sushi Handroll. It’s a small place on a busy street but it was very comfortable and welcoming inside. The freshness of the sushi was outstanding. Butterfish has some creative menu options, including a smoked hamachi maki roll with avocado and truffle ponzu sauce. The plate arrives with a smoke filled dome on top. When you lift the dome, the exquisite roll is revealed. The smoke was very light but uniquely delicious.
